What We Do
Opening our doors to the recovery community in 1946, we have been established as one of the oldest Alano clubs still running today.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide service to the AODA recovery community in a safe, sober, and vibrant atmosphere. We offer additional programming and assistance, which help empower recovering persons to make productive changes in their everyday lives.
We are located at the Historic Fred Kraus Residence, built in 1902 by architect Eugene Liebert. It’s been an honor of ours to be a part of the Prospect Avenue Mansions Historic District since 1990.

We are dedicated to facilitating the development and expansion of the recovery community by providing an all inclusive atmosphere of recovery that people can flourish and thrive in.
We have a variety of 12 step literature available for purchase, as well as a full service sober bar with coffee, The Daily Bird© cold brew, and dozens of other beverages.
In addition to hot food & pizza, we also have locally made Scratch© ice cream and other snacks for sale at the counter!
We hope to help recovering addicts and alcoholics broaden their horizons, find fulfillment, and rise into the bright future ahead of them.

Alcoholics Anonymous does not finance or lend its name to any outside organization. The Milwaukee Alano Club and the Alano Foundation is an outside organization, separate and distinct from AA, Al-anon, or any other 12-Step group. Each meeting held at the hall is conducted as an autonomous group, all meetings within our space are operated independently.
